Anyone know how to set the table to only allow 2 players?

I don't believe one can set up the table for only 2 players. You can make the table private with a password, though, and turn off the option for computer players to fill the remaining seats. I have never tried that, and in most games, the game won't start until all the seats are filled by humans.

You could try it with another player to see whether the game gives you the option to start without filling all the seats.

Regardless, if you and your partner know how to double-browse, 2 people can play 4 seats.
